
Lyn Meyer is a former State Senator who sponsored and worked on legislation related to domestic violence, human trafficking and missing persons. As the prime sponsor of the "Murdered Missing Indigenous Women" bill, she was a leader in identifying the regional issue of crimes against Native American women. This lead to the creation of a state position and funding focused on collaboration with tribal entities.

Lyn co-founded a human trafficking organization, "Fighting Against Trafficking", and served as the Vice President of their Board of Directors.

Following her political career, she jumped into social media platforms to help find missing persons, as well as advocate for victims of crime and seek justice for those who haven't received it.
